The Power of Having Been Poor
I learned from Bakla Ako that 15 October 2008 is Blog Action Day 2008, which aims to propel bloggers to take a stand against poverty.
The wonderful thing about having been poor is the strength and power that results from having survived it. It makes one more independent and fearless in taking on the challenges of life. One realizes his limits and how resilient the human spirit can be.
