The Non Existent Pulp in Minute Maid Orange Juice (Ire)

I almost choked on my first gulp of Minute Maid orange juice because of the amount of pulp in it. And it didn’t stop with the first swallow. Down to the last drop in the Minute Maid 1 liter plastic bottle there was pulp galore.

My wonderful first experience encouraged me to buy a second bottle from Shopwise Araneta Center, and then a third and a fourth from Rustan’s Ali Mall Cubao.

My fourth container of Minute Maid Pulpy Orange had me shaking the plastic bottle repeatedly in the hope that when I pour the next glass there would be pulp in it. I was down to the last two inches when I had to concede that whatever part in the bottling process puts pulp in the bottle had somehow missed my latest Minute Maid purchase.

One out of four. Twenty-five percent chance of getting a non-pulpy Minute Maid 1L bottle. A bit high, I think, but I’ll still take the chance that the next several bottles of Minute Maid will be keeping its promise of being pulpy, but I’ll be looking at the bottom to see if there’s pulp.

And, I still have to decide whether to call the Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines Customer Care Hotline and report my experience.

Love Minute Maid, though the one we have here is sweeter than the orig. Still tastes nice, though. Fortunately, I haven’t had a pulp-free bottle yet.

Yeah, just report it. At least they’ll know that there are some inconsistencies in their homogenization.

I LOVE MINUTE MAID, but i prefer the ones from HongKong/ China. It has more pulp, and yes, it isn’t as sweet as the ones made here. :)

Hi! The 1 liter of Minute Maid that I bought last week does not have pulp inside. All the while I thought that it was made that way. Usually I buy the smaller versions and it has loads of pulp. :)
