Foo Fighters Cry Foul Against McCain

The Grammy award winning band Foo Fighters have protested against McCain using their song, My Hero, during his US presidential rallies in his bid to claim the most powerful seat in the land.

The Foo Fighters fume in a statement, “It’s frustrating and infuriating that someone who claims to speak for the American people would repeatedly show such little respect for creativity and intellectual property.”

Other artists who have also protested against the use of their music for the Republican presidential candidate John McCain and his VP choice Sarah Palin are Van Halen, John Mellencamp, Jackson Browne and Heart.

In our own upcoming presidential elections, I wonder which musical artists will declare their displeasure against the use of one or several of their hit songs?
