Les Mills Body Jam 46 Poster Showcases Filipino as Lead Model
One of the possible career highlights of any Body Jam professional is to be featured on the Body Jam release posters that announce the arrival of the new Les Mills choreography every quarter in the thousands of gyms worldwide where millions of clients work out to the much anticipated Les Mills releases.
And, Arnold Warren, a Les Mills trainer for the Asia Pacific region who is currently based in the Philippines, is not immune from having such a dream, so he was ecstatic to be chosen from hundreds of hopefuls as one of the five models who were photographed earlier this year in a New Zealand February 2008 shoot.
Honestly, Arnold confessed that he was initially intimidated by his companions during the photo shoot since they were all “model-like” with their height and looks, but, he knew his strength was in his dance background, so he jumped, rolled and danced for fifteen minutes while he was photographed from every possible angle.
However, the short period of his session gave him the impression that he did not clinch any position on the Body Jam release posters, since each of his “model” companions were under the lights for 45 minutes.
To his very pleasant surprise, on June 2008, he was informed that his image is on the Body Jam 46 poster. Moreover, it’s a solo venture, with his jumping form copied four times across the expanse of the poster.
Incidentally, Arnold Warren’s presence on the Body Jam 46 poster marks the second time that a Filipino has been featured, with the first one being Paolo Gimenez, who was originally part of the Fitness First Philippines franchise until Les Mill Australia lured him away. Arnold Warren is also frequently out of the country since he is kept busy training Les Mills instructors in the Asia Pacific region.
Arnold Warren and Paolo Gimenez remain the best of friends that Paolo, who is here on vacation, has been “persuaded” to share his teaching prowess once again with Fitness First Philippines members by teaching Arnold’s Body Jam class on 25 September 2008 at 7.15pm at the SM Megamall branch.

I’m a flip based in Toronto who just finished the insructor BJ training this past weekend and I hafta say, I’m so proud to find out that it’s a fellow Filipino on the cover of the DVD/CD. I think discovering this inspired me to really “buh-ring it” to the training and show the other instructors, albeit a friendly environment, just how Filpinos roll. Yeah yeah.
