How to Stop Your Fitness First Monthly Credit Card Billing
Do you want to stop your monthly billings from Fitness First? Then you must let Fitness First management know by writing to them, for the monthly billing is automatically renewed until such time there is a written request from the client.
Submit a Written Request for Cancellation Billing is on the first day of every month, so you must submit your Written Request for Cancellation to the Front of House management of the branch where you applied for membership a month before or earlier for it to take effect on the succeeding month.
For example:
Date of Requested Cancellation: 01 October 2008
Required Date of Submission for Written Request: On or before 01 Sept 2008
If you submit your request on 02 Sept, then your billing will be canceled on 01 November 2008.
However, this procedure will only apply to those memberships that are AFTER OR NEARING THE END OF THE INITIAL CONTRACT PERIOD. Therefore, ongoing 4 month Premiere Memberships and 12 month Lifestyle Memberships may only be applied for cancellation one month before the end of the contract.
For example:
Date of Joining: 01 Sept 2008
Type of Membership: 4 month Premiere Membership
Date of Decision to Cancel: 15 Sept 2008
Period of Required Payment: Sept – Dec 2008
Required Date of Submission for Written Request for Cancellation: On or before 01 Dec 2008
Date of Actual Billing Cancellation: 01 January 2009
Application for Cancellation Make sure you sign and have a copy of the Application for Cancellation, which will be your proof that Front of House has received your Written Request for Cancellation.
Reversal of Fees If in the event that you are still billed despite your cancellation, then you have to approach Front of House management. Aside from informing them, you have to apply for a Reversal of Fees, which means you will not have to pay for any amount beyond the period agreed upon. Your Application for Cancellation will be very important as proof that Fitness First management has received your request for cancellation.
I Am A Fitness First Member Please be informed that I am a Fitness First member. For your detailed inquiries, please speak or contact the Front of House Management of the Fitness First branch where you applied for membership.

Fitness First Sales truths
What you have to remember Fitness First Philippines is a fully commercial sales company, preaching health & fitness but really a results based company. They have very aggressive daily targets and even though managers say integretery, when it comes to the sales there is very little.
Membership consultants and managers are pushed not only daily but hourly to achieve their sales targets. Their Country Manager is really not concerned about people but the bottom line.
12 months is a long term committment so do not be pressurised by the sales teams but think it out logicly.
Good luck.
i am a member of fitness first cebu…but since my membership i havent been able to work out there not even once because most of the time im out of town or country…ive been contacting mr. derek somemthing their oic manager to inform him my wish to cancel my membership but all i got is his promise to look into it…im tired of receiving my bills from fitness first this is unfair i should say this just show how insensible the management is…focusing only on their own gain at the expense of unsuspected clients…i truly regret the day i know and heard of fitness first…lesson learned: dont be deceive by the sweet talk of fitness first sales team…
im an OFW who is here for an extended vaction because of the recession. I want to continue hitting the GYM as I do it when i was abroad. I asked Fitness First (somewhere in South Metro Manila) for some info over the fone and was answered by a very eager consultant who got my cp number and next day he texted me if im still intersted to which i said no. I was frustrated that im only askng if they have a monthly membership and he cant even tell it to me on the phone and insisting that i com eto visit their place to talk. hmph. why will i get the 4m or 1 yr membership if i dont live in the Philippines?
