Win a West Side Story Manila SWATCH Maria or SWATCH Tony
On 20 August 2008 at the West Side Story Trinoma mall show, I politely accepted the raffle stub from West Side Story Manila publicist Oliver Oliveros, but my expectations were very low since I hardly win in raffles. However, my polite disinterest turned to an avid interest when I learned that the prize was a SWATCH. All my previous watches have been a SWATCH, with the exception of the last one since SWATCH discontinued the production of the bezel feature in its watches.
The avid interest became a silent prayer cum mantra for my number 205 to be picked. As Joanna Ampil said the numbers out loud, I couldn’t help giving a small jump from my chair, earning me a stare from a nearby audience member.
The great news is that a SWATCH Maria and a SWATCH Tony will be given away to two lucky audience members for EACH West Side Story show. You may want to start singing a revised version of the Something’s Coming number, because it just might come true!
