iMovie Uploads on YouTube
Ever since I learned about iMovie from Elai Santiago on 26 July 2008, it just opened up a whole world of opportunities to play in another medium, hence, the sudden upsurge of videos on YouTube.
Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers The first experiment was linking two video clips with a transition and then adding titles. I was ecstatic to find a Far and Away title option in iMovie that looked exactly like all the opening sequences in the Star Wars movies. It was so cool!

Burger King I was more ambitious with the next video. I directed the Burger King manager and had him move to different locations in and out of the store. And, I discovered the title option of Stripe Subtitle that looked like the ones you can find on TV features, which I used to identify the different parts of the video.

Disney’s Mulan Jr. The next revelation was the option on iMovie’s Edit that’s called splitting the video clip at the play head, which allowed me to insert titles within a video clip so that the timing of the information was more relevant, and to clean the beginning and ending of the video clips that I used. And then, since it’s a musical number, I used the music video option for the titles, which I regularly see on MTV and other music video channels.

West Side Story Manila I moved really close during the press con of West Side Story Manila since my Canon Digital Ixus is only 4 megapixels. Ans then, during editing, I once again practiced the splitting the video clip at the play head function, and tried to use the skills I’ve learned so far.
