A Full Day of Eating

Breakfast at Pancake House Malayan Plaza After taking a 6.30am Yoga class in Fitness First Ortigas on 10 July 2008, I met with my sister for breakfast at Pancake House Malayan Plaza (near Podium), and found its staff on a “leisurely” mode, which my sister assured me is normal with this Pancake House franchise.

Between us, we halved an order of Tapa with a Sunny Side Up Fried Egg and Rice, and then had a Chocolate Chip Pancake smeared with Butter and Peanut Butter each, with dribbles of pancake syrup, of course.

Late Lunch at Cibo Gateway Mall Then I met a girlfriend at Cibo Gateway Mall, where the service is always impeccable, for a late lunch of Pasta Genovese (Pesto with Cream Sauce), and, for dessert, we tried out the Carrot Cake with Cream Sauce for the first time. We found out to our delight that one order is actually two slices of carrot cake. Double the yumminess!

Dinner at Cibo Gateway Mall Then I watched the movie Wanted with a balikbayan friend, and discovered that our motivation to see the movie was the same– Angelina Jolie. After being dumbfounded that a group of assassins were taking orders from a Loom of Fate, we went to Cibo Gateway Mall to recover.

Over her glass of wine and my glass of water, we discussed our lives while eating Pasta Nettuno (Pesto with Seafood), and finished off the meal with Cheesecake with Caramel Sauce.
