Dulaang UP Pays Tribute to Rene Villanueva
Hinabing Pakpak ng Ating mga Anak Philippine theatre’s enfant terrible Dr. Anton Juan, Jr. culls from the works of the late Rene Villanueva to give life to an original work entitled Hinabing Pakpak ng Ating mga Anak (Woven Wings of Our Children), which is set to open next week 16 July 2008 at 7pm at the Wilfrido Ma. Guerrero Theater, 2nd Floor, Palma Hall University of the Philippines, U.P. Diliman, Quezon City.
The Grand Summons The charming Anton, who I saw during the Virgin Labfest 4 performances last Sunday, graciously invited me to the gala performance on 18 July 2008. Having worked with Anton as my director in Death in the Form of a Rose and Larawan had me accepting the invite with a little curtsy.

Tickets at Php 250 each on a first come first served seating basis are available at the Wilfrido Ma.
