Pancake House Home Style Bangus Replacement (Eye)
Two bites into Pancake House’s Home Style Bangus, and I signaled for the server. One bite gave the impression that the milkfish was very dry. A second bite confirmed it.
The Pancake House server at the Mall of Asia branch on 27 June 2008 was a bit puzzled by my request to send it back to the kitchens. She discussed it with her supervisor, which filled me with trepidation because they might not fix the dish, which will probably cause me to stop going to Pancake House for years.
Thankfully, the Pancake House server did return to let me know that they were going to replace the Home Style Bangus altogether.
Inwardly, I was very relieved, for there was no need to miss the Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Tacos, Roasted Chicken and the Home Style Bangus. As a matter of fact, I’m on my way now to Pancake House for a family breakfast get together.
