Chuckles — I’m Working
We went to my nephew’s pre-school to celebrate his birthday. Since his classroom is near the open area where we were preparing the birthday cake, the food and the plates, we spied him through the open windows. Naturally, we called out his name and waved.
My six year old nephew halted his activity of getting something from the cubicles near the windows, looked at us, gave a small wave, and then reprimanded and dismissed us at the same time by saying, “I’m working.”
We meekly nodded our understanding and went back to the birthday preparations.
