Christian Bautista Impresses Audience During West Side Story Sales Launch
Christian Bautista, who plays the male lead Tony, regaled the enraptured audience with his version of Maria during the West Side Story Manila sales launch on 21 May 2008.
What impressed the audience even more was the decision of Asia’s Pop Idol not to use the mike, and let his voice soar through the room.
Christian Bautista’s Tony will be foiled by West End star, Joanna Ampil, and local star Karylle Tatlonghari, daughter of chanteuse Zsa Zsa Padilla.
