My Reaction to Sassy Lawyer’s The Birds of Prey and Batjay
I was inwardly hysterical.
I wanted to tear at my hair.
I wanted to claw my skin.
My heart was racing.
My breath was short.
My eyes were staring wildly.
Her thoughts are disturbing.
Her thoughts are horrifying.
Her thoughts are terrifying.
Her words spell demise to my kind.
Her words ring the death knell.
Oh, how her words cause lamentation.
This is my reaction to Sassy Lawyer or Connie Veneracion’s article entitled The Birds of Prey and Batjay, which focuses on the literary work of National Artist Amado V. Hernandez entitled Mga Ibong Mandaragit or Birds of Prey, which I learned about through Dogberry or Exie Abola.
