KFC Delivers Watery Arroz Caldo Replacements (Eye)
A Watery Discovery At home, I discovered that my three takeout orders of KFC arroz caldo (congee) on 16 May 2008 were watery. The three bowls held so much liquid that no rice could be seen floating on top. Whatever rice bits it held had to be coaxed upwards by a spoon. Dismayed, I wondered what I could do. Since it was takeout, I couldn’t exactly go to the counter and request for replacements.
The Demands of Pharyngitis and Laryngitis I presently have laryngitis and pharyngitis, so I have to take powerful antibiotics three times a day. Food intake is required before gulping down these antibiotics. The painful consequence of not following this directive is the writhing kind of stomach cramps, so it was essential to have enough food lining the tummy. The takeout order was supposed to account for a couple of meals.
Call to the KFC Gateway Mall Manager My body’s demands drove me to call KFC Gateway Mall. Purely by chance, I managed to speak to the KFC manager directly when she answered the phone, so there was an immediate decision that the replacements should be delivered to my home.
The Two Options Although she reassured me that the batch of Arroz Caldo they had was up to the standards of KFC, I still requested that whoever was going to deliver the arroz caldo replacements to bring money so that I have the option of returning all the arroz caldo if it proves to be all too watery.
Thankfully, the KFC arroz caldo replacements turned out fine. Thank you to the management and staff of KFC Gateway Mall!
