Is It Really the Farewell Run of Avenue Q Manila?
Is it really the farewell run of Avenue Q? This is a question often asked out loud or wondered about by theatergoers. So we posed the question to Avenue Q Manila and Singapore director Bobby Garcia.
“Yes! The Avenue Q December run was supposed to be the last one, but, when the Singapore run pushed through, we thought that since we’re rehearsing anyway, we might as well have a farewell run here in Manila before flying to Singapore. But this is really the last.”
Is it really the farewell run of Avenue Q? (We asked it a second time during the conversation just to be sure.) Teasingly, Avenue Q director Bobby Garcia replied, “Well, they can catch it in Singapore. The tickets cost US $100 each. Here, the most expensive ticket is only Php 1,300. Plus you have to pay for airfare to and from Singapore and hotel accommodations too.”
Avenue Q Spread the Fuzz Show Dates Join the Avenue Q Manila cast on its farewell run this June for a couple of hours of hilarity and fun. The Spread the Fuzz shows, where there will be activities in the lobby, will be on the following dates:
14 June 2008 2pm (Sat)
21 June 2008 8pm (Sat)
