Ticketnet SM Megamall Slow Service (Ire)
There was a line, but I wasn’t worried. It was only 4.35pm. I had made reservations the night before so it shouldn’t take more than five minutes for my transaction to go through, enough time to make it even for a 5.15pm class at Fitness First Megamall.
I only finished by 5.18pm.
I have no idea why, but the Ticketnet SM Megamall employee couldn’t access the reservations page on the computer. At one point, I instructed her to forget about the reservation and just get me the nearest seats for the High School Musical The Ice Tour Manila show, but she couldn’t process that transaction either.
I pointed out to SM Manager Lorence Sison that I find it inconceivable that the system is still not in place after several years of SM Megamall being a Ticketnet outlet.
Next time, whenever possible, I’m going to buy at Ticketnet Araneta Coliseum to be very sure my time is not wasted.

I was the first in line when purchasing a Sesame St. Live ticket in SM Centerpoint’s ticketnet counter. It was 10:00am. I made a phone reservation a day before so I shouldn’t have to worry about my 12:30noon meeting at Trinoma. The lady in the counter couldn’t connect to the system for about 40 min. as more people que in the line after me. each one complaining. Some just left disappointed.
Finally, the system got connected but now a new problem arises -she couldn’t access the reservations page on the computer. After several tries she decided she has to restart her computer. Now she can’t connect to the internet through the dial-up modem. Makes me wonder why the ticketnet don’t use broadband connections to go online???
When finally at 11:30 the tickets are ready for printing, I gave my credit card for payment, I signed the charge slip-then the most amazing thing happened. They couldn’t print the tickets! The girl in the counter asked for help and soon the counter is packed with 4 ladies trying to make the printer work. By this time I have to leave as I will be late for my meeting. I left SM Centerpoint wiithout the PAID- tickets.
I had to go back the next day just to get my tickets. grrrrr…..
