iBlog4, Altar Boyz Mosh Pit Party, Nick Weekend Carnival & 88DB Bloggers Party
iBlog4 A full day of events on 26 April 2008 started with the iBlog4 seminar at the Malcolm Hall in the University of the Philippines campus, where, for three hours, I was enlightened a little bit more about the blogosphere through the talks of Charo Nuguid, Juan Karlo Licudine, Juned Sonido and Jonas Diego. A surprise was an aborted chat with Brian Gorell, who did a special video for the bloggers who attended iBlog4.
Altar Boyz Mosh Pit Party By noon, I rushed off to OnStage Greenbelt 1 Makati to prepare for the Altar Boyz Mosh Pit Party. The glow sticks worked out so well during the pseudo-concert, especially during the number when the boys had glow sticks themselves while doing a production number onstage.
Kristine Manuel, the winner of Meet Matthew of the Altar Boyz Radio Contest, was thrilled to bits, as she was led by Matthew (played by PJ Valerio) onstage so that he could sing a song for her, while her friends screamed in excitement. Repertory Philippines kindly allowed a short meet and greet with the Altar Boyz after the show, so theatergoers could have their pictures taken with the talented boys too.
Nick Weekend Carnival Then it was off to The Fort Bonifacio Global City for the Nick Weekend Carnival, where a jealous Katara whipped my butt with her water bending skills for getting too close to Aang. Hihi…
Well, I also met up with my nephews and niece so we could go around the grounds. We had a lot of fun tramping around just looking at everything. There was so much to do and see! And, everyone stayed till the very end to watch the fireworks display. I’m sure all the Nicksters had a rockin’ good time!
88DB Bloggers Party The day was capped by a Bloggers party sponsored by 88DB at the Katips Bar in Katipunan Quezon City. I was amazed with the willingness of the bloggers to play the games so readily, and then, the host turned out to be a fellow Body Jam classmate from Fitness First, who approached me right after the games. I also stayed to catch the band Lose Your Beer Belly, and then, I made a hasty exit as the cigarette smoke became too much for my asthma afflicted lungs.
To quote SpongeBob, “It’s the best day ever!!!” More details coming soon.

Thanks for catching our set! So that’s why I wasn’t able to see you after we played. Anyway, it was nice seeing you again.
I am also there here are some pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/dexfamily/sets/72157604756637877/
Hi, Ade, since I didn’t have your number I texted Fritz to tell you that I really liked your original songs. And to say sorry that I couldn’t tell you myself because I had to leave due to the cigarette smoke.
And thanks, Dexter, for sharing your pics.
