Kris Aquino Appears on American Deal or No Deal
Even if the ABS-CBN show Deal or No Deal is not currently airing on Philippine televesion, Philippine Entertainment Portal or PEP has reported that the show will be resurrected, albeit for American audiences, through a short segment in the US version of Deal or No Deal, which will air a special Deal or No Deal — Around the World episode.
As to why they chose the Philippines to be included in the special episode, host of the American version of Deal or No Deal Howie Mandel replied, “The show [local Deal or No Deal] is so well-produced and the [Philippine] culture is so beautiful and it’s very different than ours. That’s what we’re doing, you know, we wanna see things that are exciting and very different than what we see in the United States.â€
Howie Mandel praises Philippine Deal or No Deal host Kris Aquino, who he has watched on DVDs, “She’s wonderful. I think she’s funny and she has a great heart and she’s energetic and beautiful.â€
Kris Aquino and Howie Mandel will be sharing the Deal or No Deal stage, which, incidentally, had to be brought out of storage and reconstructed for the special taping yesterday- 24 April 2008.
The Deal or No Deal — Around the World episode will air on American television on 07 May 2008. Sadly, it will not be broadcast here, but I’m sure snippets of it will be shown on local news telecasts.

I really love watching deal or no deal but I’ve observed that this game is not for the needy people.
everytime we watched various game shows of abs-cbn, esp game kana ba, singing bee and deal or no deal, my kids thought that i am very smart mommy(lol) cos my choices of answers favored that of the winners most of the time. i told them those contestants are smarter than me, its just that they are so nervous knowing they are being watched worldwide that they forgot the answers, and it could happen to everyone, and very lucky are those who wins. anyway, my kids ALWAYS (as in ALWAYS) encourage me to join cos they are confident that i can make it(lol). this the reason why i search for the web on how joining will be. being a widower for five years now, my three kids are my only inspirations. this Christmas, one of their wishes for Santa is for me to join DEAL OR NO DEAL, i am a very introvert person, but i’ll try my guts and luck for the very first time,,,for my kids. hope i’ll be one of those given privilege to play the game of chance and how is it to be standing in front of ms. kris aquino and all the kapamilya.

Hi Kris,I used to watch you and Mr.Banker sa game show ng kapamilya deal or no deal sa TFC Cambodia. I enjoyed watching it at very challenging pa. Im a lay missionary, single and assigned in Cambodia for 9 years. Its my end of contract and again I renewed for another 3 years more in my commitment with our society. Usually after 3 years, Im entitled to have 3 months vacation back to Davao, Philippines to be with my mother, brod and sis. This home coming is very special for me because Im given a sabbatical year wherein I could have my refresher course for 3 months and another 3 months vacation. Kaya, nandito ako sa Quezon city ngayon (with my co-missionary)studying from January 6-April 3. After that I will go to Tagum, Davao on April 6-July 2 for vacation. July 3 Im going back to Cambodia to continue my missionary work. Im just excited to write to you Kris but at the same I have this long time dream to play with you. Maybe if I win its the best way I could help my mother and some of our family’s financial needs. But Im shy to play, anyway whatever chance I take after this short letter, its God’s will. Thank you….

I was diagnosed with colon cancer last 2007 with the grace of God im well by now. I want to join the deal or no deal.
