The Osmonds 50th Anniversary Manila Concert

The much-touted 50th Anniversary Concert of The Osmond clan will be brought to Manila on 14 June 2008 at 8pm at the PICC Hall. Manila is the third to the last stop of the Osmonds’ World Tour 2008, which will have them performing all over the United Kingdom, where their two night London Wembley Arena shows are already sold out, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and, of course, the Philippines.

According to the Osmonds’ website, Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie, and Jimmy, are performing many of their chart-topping hit songs.

Expect the following well loved songs to be performed by the Osmonds as the “boy group” Osmond Brothers, as a duo with Donny and Marie Osmond, and as solo performances by either Donny, Marie or Jimmy.

Included are some of the Osmond Brothers’ hit songs, “Lazy River,” “We’re Having A Party,” “Proud One,” “One Bad Apple,” “Double Loving,” and “Yo Yo.” Donny performs his hit singles, “Puppy Love,” “Breeze On By,” and “Soldier of Love,” and sister Marie entertains with her hit song “Paper Roses” and a medley of her Broadway repertoire, including songs from “The Sound of Music,” and the “King and I”.

Donny and Marie team up and perform a medley of their famous hits, including: “I’m Leaving It All Up to You,” “Little Bit Country and Little Bit Rock & Roll,” “It Takes Two,” and Make the World Go Away,” while brother Jimmy Osmond performs one of his number one hit records “Long Haired Lover From Liverpool.” Jimmy, Donny and Marie join their brothers in performing a medley of “Love Me For A Reason,” “Let Me In,” “Crazy Horses,” “He Ain’t Heavy,” and “Through the Years.” They also pay a musical tribute to their two older brothers Virl and Tom and the Children’s Miracle Network (founded by their parents).
