    Dear Patrick and family,
I want to let you and your family know, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know from first hand how hard this is for you and your family. My family went through a very rough time when my 3 year niece was terminally ill. She is now with her angel friends. You seem to be a very strong person willing to fight for what you want. I truly believe you will beat this cancer. You are a true fighter. God bless you and your family. Love to all.

I loved you in Dirty Dancing. That was the first time I admired latin dance. You inspired me to take lessons. For years I’ve performed all types of Latin dance as well as Jazz & the Swing. Unfortunately, I could never find a dance partner to perform with and never had a great instructor to teach more advance moves. I was too ahead of the game. so I quit. You and your wife are so lucky to have been married for so long & to have become dance partners. That’s rare. I’m so hurt to hear about your cancer. I hope you’ll be with us for a very long time. God is with you, Patrick and I’ll be praying for you & your family. xoxo
    Love Andrea

Dear Patrick: I have followed your career and was saddened by the news of your cancer. I felt compelled to write and tell you that you are in my prayers. This getting older stinks doesn’t it we are the same age, so I can speak from experience. Keep your positive attitude, that along with Lisa by your side and the prayers of many fans such as myself will get your through this. I am looking forward to seeing more of you on the screen. Sincerely, Sharon Rice

Praying for you Patrick Swayze. I lost my brother age 47 to pancreatic cancer, then my wife’s grandmother, and recently my mother. I doubt you will actually read this but I will be praying for you. I miss my brother and hate to hear about other people getting pancreatic cancer.

Fan of your action hero type movies.

Come to Natchez, Ms. to see your where your long gone relatives are- they are buried in the Kingston Cemetery- I spend a lot of time there- love being out in the country where it is. Also, your distant relatives live here- they are friends of mine. This is a beautiful area, filled with history- would love to have you come and connect with family again. I know you made a movie here years ago. Am praying for you- don’t miss out on seeing and remembering a beautiful part of your past- it is so special. We would all love to meet you. Have always loved all your movies. I have a daughter that also has a dreaded disease- she’s graduating from Graduate school in December- you can beat this with much prayer and faith. God can do many wonderful things in your life- just trust him and don’t be swayed by imitation religions, etc. God is the one true healer- he only wants you to trust and believe in Him. I know Hollywood has a lot of strange ideas, but we all know the truth down deep inside. God bless.
