HSBC Credit Card Free Watch Promo 2007 (Eye)

The HSBC credit card promo offered a free watch if one was approved for a HSBC credit card. However, when I tried to claim the free watch from HSBC via Timex or Watch Republic outlets, I was informed that the demand was so high that they were still waiting for new stocks, and I was advised to come back after a few weeks.

I wasn’t able to return after a few weeks or months, and, with the intervening time, I actually forgot about HSBC’s promo of a free watch.

So it was with considerable delight that I received a letter from HSBC this December 2007 stating that two options were available:
-To reserve one of the original designs that will be made available early next year;
-To choose from the other designs that have been added to the original list, and, which are now available at Timex or Watch Republic outlets.

Wanting to have it done and over with, I opted for the second choice and dropped by Watch Republic Trinoma, and got a Dunlop watch.

Thanks for keeping your word, HSBC!
