Chuckles — Avenue Q Manila Opening Night Ticket Status

On the morning of 14 December 2007, the Ticketworld report stated that we still had 41 tickets left to sell for the show later that night. So I prayed, “God, it’s payday and people are going to go out tonight. Please let thirty people make an impulse decision to watch Avenue Q on opening night.”

Later, when all the theatergoers were ensconced in their seats, we accounted how many tickets we had left. From forty-one, it was down to eleven tickets.

I got exactly what I prayed for. Thirty people made the purchase decision to watch Avenue Q Manila by either buying from Ticketworld, just walking in to buy before the show, or reserving via phone.

Fantastic! And, as is human nature, a niggling thought blossomed, ‘Maybe I should have asked for 41.’

*hahaha* Before I got to the end of your post, I was thinking the same: Maybe she should’ve prayed for 41. :p

I have yet to write a review on Avenue Q. I’ll post it by tonight on my blog. I promise you that, Lorna. ;)

Much thanks again and again and again and again. My mom enjoyed it so much, she couldn’t stop talking about it on the way home (which was uber traffic, by the way) and the following day during lunch. *haha* All thanks to YOU, The Bachelor Girl. :D
