Free Starbucks Peppermint Mocha (Eye)
08 December 2007 found me at Starbucks Insular Life Building in Makati, where I was told by an apologetic barrista that my Starbucks Peppermint Mocha can be served cream based but not coffee based because they’ve run out of coffee.
Before my brain could process the fact that I’m in Starbucks Coffee that cannot serve coffee, my slow cranial processes were yelping insistently for coffee.
Thankfully, the Starbucks barrista offered the option of waiting while they got coffee from a nearby Starbucks branch. The estimate waiting time is ten minutes though.
I accepted with great relief, but, I lightly said that they need to give me an extra Spark Hope sticker for making me wait.
Coffee Master Ryan Lazarte counter offered to have my drink for free because the barrista would be questioned regarding the Spark Hope sticker.
Spark Hope Sticker or a Venti sized Starbucks Peppermint Mocha?
I declared, “Ryan, I will take you up on that offer of a free drink.”
And that’s how I got a FREE Venti sized Starbucks Peppermint Mocha
