Rock the Riles at the MRT
I’ve always wondered how a concert set up would look like in the MRT stations. This Sunday, 09 December 2007, I’m about to find out as the Rock the Riles at the MRT takes place between 2-7pm to celebrate Human Rights Day
Eight stations in particular, namely, Taft, Ayala, Buendia, Boni, Shaw, Cubao, Quezon Ave. and North EDSA will have 45 bands (in total) performing.
As a matter of fact, gangbadoy promises, “45 bands. 100 photographers. 50 filmmakers. 40 poets. 8 train stations. 8 specific goals. 1 solid stand. Human Rights.” (Please click on the link above for more details.)
So, it seems my Sunday afternoon is going to be more interesting than watching the play Insiang at the CCP. Moreover, I get to ride the MRT repeatedly. Yipee!
