A Hysteroscopy Story
Hysteroscopy’s main attractions are the facts that it’s non-invasive and the recovery time is much faster. Incidentally, hysteroscopy is the procedure by which a telescope is inserted into the uterus, allowing the doctor to perform a myoma or polyp removal procedure without cutting up the patient.
I was able to see for myself the truth behind these assertions when I accompanied a friend for a hysteroscopy procedure to be performed by the renowned Dr. Delfin Tan in the United Doctors Medical Center in Quezon City last 03-04 December 2007.

Pain and Recovery The pain and recovery time will most probably vary depending upon the individual, but my friend likened the pain to a bad dysmenorrheal episode that passed after a couple of hours.
My friend totally astounded me by how fast she recovered that by the time we checked out of the hospital she wanted to go out for dinner. The very next day she’s back to work.
