Pizza Hut Bistro Gateway Mall Cockroach (Ire)

The last time I was in Pizza Hut Bistro Gateway Mall was in September 2006 because a cockroach crawled up my shoulder. Even though I appreciate the fact that Pizza Hut Bistro management tried to make amends, the memory was just too traumatic for me to go back anytime soon.

23 November 2007 turned out to be the fateful day that I would return to Pizza Hut Bistro Gateway Mall because of a craving to eat something Thai inspired. I reasoned that a year is more than enough time to solve the pest problem.

As I was eating the Crab Roll Salad, a baby cockroach crawled on the table beside mine. I killed it by crushing it in between the folds of a tissue, the remains of which you can see at the leftmost corner of the image.

Of course, I informed management of the incident as well as the history behind it, but as I helplessly told him, “I don’t know what to say anymore…”
