The Pall on Glorietta Mall
When I said I could have died during the Glorietta blast, I didn’t realize how close I was to the truth until I was taking my usual route to and from the MRT to Legaspi Village on 07 November 2007.
The boarded portion, which I assume covers the damaged areas, was exactly beside the Glorietta corridor where I usually pass to get to the Ayala station.
The only things that saved me that fateful day were the fact that most of my errands were in the Salcedo Village area and the fact that they were all scheduled in the morning, which meant that I took my MRT rides in the Buendia station.
The pall on Glorietta Mall can be felt all the way to Shoemart where the usual blast of bustling energy was missing.
