Chuckles — Goddess of the Wind and Rain
As we went over the details of Nickelodeon’s Mischief Madness show at the Mall of Asia, my niece, remembering her last experience at The Music Hall said, “Can you make sure it doesn’t rain?”
I stared blankly at her for a moment, then raised my arms into the air and intoned, “Oh rain, do not fall…”
Unsatisfied, my niece interrupted me and added a request, “And can you please make sure there’s no wind?”
Up went my arms again in response, “Oh wind, do not blow…” Teasingly, I told her, “Who do you think I am? The Goddess of the Wind and Rain?”
P.S. There was no wind nor rain that night when we watched the Mischief Madness show on 31 October 2007 at the Music Hall at the Mall of Asia.
