Ask the Universe

Ask the universe. And so I did.

I’ve been thinking of what I wanted for the December Spread the Fuzz on Avenue Q Manila Show. In the past, I have sent proposals to other companies for the September run, which a majority didn’t work out, because, I think, of the lack of opportunity to make a personal presentation. So, in the future, I wanted to be able to talk face to face with somebody.

Frenzy Condom One of the companies I approached was DKT Philippines, the company behind Premiere and Frenzy Condoms and Trust Pills. I was unceremoniously informed by the operator that after sending the proposal there would be no need to call.

And no surprise, DKT Philippines didn’t get back to me.

So when I saw the Frenzy Condom set up at Fitness First Metro East on 17 October 2007 I pursued the assistant regarding meeting the person in charge. My enthusiasm led to a call to a marketing associate who gave me her personal email address.

Solar Entertainment The next day, 18 October 2007, the universe seemed to be on a roll as I met Sam Oh by chance in the elevator, which led to another meeting with a marketing associate.

Prior to this day, I had been taking note of Solar Entertainment’s coverage of events and wondering how I could get in touch with somebody from marketing. After the impromptu presentation, I now have a business card.

Although both endeavors may not pan out, at least the probabilities are much higher now that they will.

So go for it! Ask the universe…
