How to Do a Chinese Hairstyle
I was shocked that my layered hair could be fashioned into such a stylized version of a Chinese hairstyle. Whether you wish to do the same with your hair to celebrate Halloween or to just try it out on a whim, here are the steps that hairstylist and makeup artist Ronnie Martinez took to transform my wild tresses into a controlled coiffure.
Pull your hair into a high ponytail. Gather your hair into a high ponytail. Secure with an elastic band and cover with a lock of your own hair.
Separate hair into six sections. Put hair gel on each section of hair and then braid. Secure the end with elastic.
Pin braids into place. Form arches with five of the braids. Use hairpins to secure the ends. Pin the last braid on the base of the ponytail itself. Comb any stray strands into place and then apply hairspray.
Add a ribbon. For a finishing touch, wind a ribbon around the base of the ponytail.
BPI Preferred Clients After my hair and makeup have been done, I slip on the red cheongsam and, voila, I was ready to host the BPI Preferred Clients raffle.
Hairstylist and makeup artist Ronnie Martinez was tasked with the hair and makeup of all the actors for the Tales of the Mooncake Festival show for BPI’s preferred clients handled by Stages Production Specialists Inc. last 04 October 2007.
