Idly listening to the patter of the Entertainment Tonight host had me suddenly sitting upright as the familiar name of Monique Lhuillier came up in connection with former Grey’s Anatomy star Kate Walsh, who will soon star in a spin off based on the award winning series.

Casually mentioning that Kate Walsh, more popularly known as the female Dr. Shepherd, is getting married in a Monique Lhuillier gown had me searching the net if my ears were indeed correct.

Yes, it is indeed Monique Lhuillier who designed the form fitting lace embellished wedding dress of Kate Walsh.

Monique Lhuillier became quite popular to the Hollywood set after it was revealed that she designed the two wedding dresses of Britney Spears in her nuptials to Kevin Federline as well as Kevin Costner’s bride.
