Red Ribbon Choco Peanut Butter Mousse Cake Reduction (Ire)
Anyone who gives me less chocolate than what I paid for earns my ire. So when the server at Red Ribbon Megamall was about to give me my order of a slice of Choco Peanut Butter Mousse Cake on 20 August 2007, I stopped him and told him to get another one because the tip was not sliced properly, thus ending in a messy angular cut that was obviously less than what it should be.
The server protested that that was the usual serving. I shooed him away to get another slice.
Not only was it less than it should be, but, presentation wise, it was ugly, totally unlike my other experiences of ordering the same slice of Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Cake in other Red Ribbon branches. See the picture above to know what I am used to.
The proffered slice that came back was even worse because the same slice now had a minute mashed version of the cake pushed at the bottom of the slice’s tip, making what was formerly an ugly cake a disgusting one.
Although the Red Ribbon staff did eventually replace it, it was done with ill grace and fulminating glances in our direction. Furthermore, speaking with Supervisor Joel Chan proved to be a frustrating waste of time because of his non-acceptance of responsibility and non-apology.
The apology was only forced out of him when I said, “Aren’t you going to apologize?”

Blah, blah, blah!
You seem to complain even in the mintuest of excusable instances. Nakakainis!
Your complaint is very uncalled for! Grabe.
Yes, I’m very particular when it comes to the presentation of my food, especially when standards have already been set by previous experiences in other branches of the same restaurant.
