Avenue Q Manila will run from 07-23 September 2007 with performances on:
07, 14, 21 September 2007 Friday 8pm
08, 15, 22 September 2007 Saturday 2pm and 8pm
09, 16, 23 September 2007 Sunday at 3pm

Avenue Q will be performed at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza that’s located at the corner of Sen Gil Puyat (formerly Buendia) and Ayala Ave. in Makati City.

What is the rating for the Avenue Q Manila show?
PG 13, i.e. six to twelve year olds must be accompanied by an adult while 13-17 yo clients may watch the show alone or with their friends.
However, it is my personal opinion that the show can be an excellent opportunity for parents to be able to discuss with their coming of age child real life issues that will come up during the show, e.g. falling in love, racism, porn on the internet, etc.

Any chances of Avenue Q showing here in Baguio? Me and my wife never expected this musical to be shown in the Philippines. But when we heard that its showing in Manila we both exclaimed “Great!(sarcasm) another fantastic musical that we won’t get to watch since Baguio isn’t one of those ‘happening’ places in the Phils.” Learned of this musical ages ago after watching a machinima of Internet is for Porn using World of Warcraft.

And BaguioGuy, why not go to Manila for the day? Catch our matinee show on Saturday 15 Sept 2007 at 2pm so that you can be on your way back to Baguio by evening. Also, maybe you can take the bus so you don’t get tired from driving, and you get to sleep too. I think it’s worth the trip and all the effort.
Fantastic! Wunderbar! Sehr gut! Muy bien! Magnifico! What more can I say? Actually it was just by accident that I got to watch it because the person who had the tickets can’t make it so she gave them to me. Although she mentioned it was a good one… but its not just good, it was excellent… all 7 actors were great. I am now encouraging my officemates to watch it and have a different way of relaxation. I might even watch it again….. Congratulations! It sucks that it will end soon

I’m a real big fan of this musical ever since I watched them performed in 2004 Tony’s. I had its soundtrack by the original broadway cast and even memorized all the songs. When I found out that this is going to be staged in Manila, I was excited. Although too bad, I won’t be able to watch this since I’m working abroad. I just wish that there’s going to be an Asian tour for this, like what they did for Rent (*keeping my fingers crossed*) or that there’s going to be a repeat so that I can plan my trip there =)
