The Dawn & Stonefree & Hilera Celebrate Cubism Productions 1st Year Anniversary

Cubism Productions 1st Year Anniversary Poster

It is only fitting that one of the premiere bands in the country, whose musical style has influenced several generations of Philippine bands, will open the first year anniversary of Cubism Productions.

So make sure you’re at Route 196 by 9pm on 26 July 2007 to catch the indefatigable The Dawn with their awe-inspiring act.

Helping to celebrate Cubism Production’s Happy Birthday party gig is another band that has made its mark on the music scene — Stonefree.

Irene Tan-Gurango of Click the City has described the effect of Stonefree’s music on their fans as “constantly being blown away by the intensity of their live performances and constantly falling in love with their contagious, LSS (stands for ‘last song syndrome’), emotion-driven songs.”

An upcoming band that was recognized early on by Jmi Orara of Cubism Productions as a very talented act will join The Dawn, Stonefree, and the Cubism Productions bands of Elevator Action, Ishlavooh and Sympatika.

Their music proved to be a winner in the Nescafe Soundskool intercollegiate band competition. NRJ Ramos of the Manila Standard Today reported that Maureen Guiao, Nescafe marketing executive, chose Hilera because the band “stood out from the rest of the bands who competed in Soundskool. Aside from their originality, freshness, and feel-good vibe—qualities which Nescafe associates itself with—they had the heart and talent that could lead them to even greater heights.”

Ticket Price Tickets are at Php 120, which includes a free drink. The first 50 guests will also receive a loot bag from Cubism Productions.

Venue Location Route 196 was formerly known as Inihaw Republic, which is located at 196 Katipunan Extension, right across Wham Burgers. If you’re coming from White Plains and going towards north, Route 196 will be on your right side.

Cubism Productions Beneficiary The Cubism Productions first year anniversary gig will benefit Sintang Kabataan, an organization that educates street children.
