Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
And if I die before I wake
Then an angel he should take
A Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book
For me to read in some heavenly nook
And there goes an attempt at poetry with a revised old English prayer
Hopefully, there’s no need for the prayer to take effect, but I want to clarify my expectations just in case I meet an untimely demise before I get to read the last installment of the Harry Potter series.
And, in the event that I do get to get my greedy hands on a copy of the book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, it will be time again for me to gleefully chortle that 21 July 2007 dawns hours earlier in this corner of the world than in the Western hemisphere.
Tonight will be a restless sleep that will have me checking the clock constantly to make sure that I’ll be at Fully Booked Gateway Mall before 7am tomorrow.
And then it’s a Don’t Disturb Me Mode until I finish the book. That reminds me, I have to stock up on food. And write the post for tomorrow.
