Stages and Trumpets Playshop Production of Disney’s High School Musical

Fresh from his success as one of the hosts of the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2007 Preview Party, Sam Concepcion will now focus his full attention to playing the lead role of Troy Bolton in the Stages and Trumpets Playshop Production of Disney’s High School Musical.

Sam Concepcion will be performing in all the shows with Cheska Ortega as Gabriella Montez.

Disney’s High School Musical Synopsis

Disney’s High School Musical is a cross between Grease and Romeo and Juliet. In one magical night, Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez found themselves singing together in a karaoke party and discovered that unmistakable spark of attraction.

They separated, only to find out that they are going to study in the same school together where Troy is an established figure as the high school basketball superstar, and Gabriella is a recent math genius transferee from another school.

Troy and Gabriella encourage each other to try out for the high school musical, an act that sends everyone into a frenzy as expectations and the status quo are sent into a tailspin.
