Chuckles — Do You Want to be Like Mother Goose
At the end of the Goosical performance at the AFP Theater last 19 May 2007, Trumpets Playshop Children’s Theatre Teacher Rizza Ribo shared with the audience and the children onstage an interesting bit of trivia.
The young female actor playing Mother Goose, Kathleen Francisco, joined Playshop at around 6 years old, the same age as some of the kids in the Children’s Theatre class.
Kathleen was so good that she was handpicked to join the professional performing group called the Playshop Kids.
To encourage the parents and children to continue being involved in the performing arts, Teacher Rizza asked, “Kids, do you want to be like Mother Goose?”
The answer was a resounding “Yes!”
