Chuckles — Are You Mother Goose
For the Trumpets Playshop 2007 Children’s Theatre showcase, the pre-school kids are going to perform Luna Inocian’s Goosical with an adapted script by moi.
One of the characters is Mother Goose, a role that will be played by former Playshop Kid Kathleen Francisco.
As we introduced Kathleen to the assembled youngsters, a heavy silence and a look of consternation met our announcement.
Kathleen deduced with a smile, “Were you expecting me to be a real goose?”
Boldly and baldly, a 6 year old girl replied, “Yes!”
(Goosical as performed by the Trumpets Playshop 2007 Children’s Theatre classes will be held at the AFP Theater on 19 and 21 of May 2007.)
