Chuckles — Heat Equals Cold

As we rode a friend’s restored 1976 Isuzu Gemini, we became aware of its idiosyncrasies, like the fact that the key can fall out of the ignition without the need to turn off the engine, which makes for a handy fact when one is required to open the trunk for inspection.

Moreover, one of us observed that there was a glaring red sign on the dashboard saying HEAT.

When she pointed it out, my friend said unconcernedly, “Don’t worry. The HEAT means it’s going to be cold,” in reference to the car aircon.
