Chuckles — Do You HTML?

A conversation meandered into the subject of blogging when my companion inquired, “Do you HTML?”

Despite almost two years of blogging, my slowly growing computer literacy wasn’t aware of the answer so I asked, “What’s HTML?”

As she clarified, I exclaimed, “You mean that series of commands you put in to upload pictures or to link?” When she confirmed in the affirmative, I requested excitedly, “Ask me again!”

She obliged, “Do you HTML?”

In a scholarly tone, I replied gravely with a nod, “Why, yes. Yes, I do HTML.”
