Pancake House Eastwood City Fails the Taco Test (Ire)
A bite into a favorite Pancake House dish on 09 February 2007 at the Pancake House Eastwood City branch turned into a grimace of discontent when it turned out to be anything unlike what I remember from eating the same taco over several years. The taco was too salty and the delicious vinaigrette dressing lost that distinct semi-sweet flavor.
The supervisor was kind enough to answer our questions and disclosed that all the ingredients come from the same commissary and all the Pancake House branches follow the same recipe. She was also kind enough to do another taco herself, but the taste just turned out the same.
I was comforted with the memory that I had a Pancake House taco just a couple of days ago at the SM Megamall branch and it was everything that I remembered.
Just for good measure, over the next couple of weeks, I reassured myself that the Pancake House Eastwood City experience was a fluke by going to the Pancake House Kaipunan branch and the Pancake House Petron Makati Ave. compound branch.
I’m very happy to report that the taco was great in all the branches, but that also means I’m not going back to Pancake House Eastwood City, not if I can help it.

I have noticed that there are less people eating at the Pancake House Eastwood City branch as compared to other Pancake House branches
