On the Lot with Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett on STAR TV
A $1 million development deal with DreamWorks is going to be the plum prize for one of the 16 aspiring filmmakers who will take part in the reality show On The Lot that’s going to be aired on Star TV and Fox.
The 16 filmmakers will be chosen from numerous hopefuls during a global search. The 16 lucky and talented filmmakers will be brought to the film capital of the world — Hollywood, where they will be divided into teams of four and expected to come up with short films weekly that represent the different film genres.
Steven Spielberg’s name and reputation has graced the project with enormous appeal and credibility, as well as Survivor creator and producer Mark Burnett. Both men will serve as executive producers of the On The Lot reality show.
