Free Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (Eye)

An Original Glazed Doughnut purchase at the Krispy Kreme The Fort branch on 31 January 2007 was going to be done under the condition that there was no long line.

Thankfully, there was none that early afternoon, and the red light was on, signaling that fresh doughnuts were on the assembly line.

We were only going to order one Php 30 Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut to split between the two of us with the objective of finding out if we liked it or not.

However, there was no need to purchase any doughnut because Krispy Kreme Staff Member Jennifer handed both of us a complimentary Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut, fresh off the assembly line.

And, as a friend predicted, I found the Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut too sweet for my taste, which drove me to request for an espresso after one bite.

My abhorrence, though, for wastage made me finish off the two doughnuts, with my sister opting to just take one bite since she became apprehensive with my reaction.

The observant Krispy Kreme staff noted my response and informed us that we could order Krispy Kreme doughnuts without the glaze, albeit at the same Php 30 price.
