Marikina & Pasig River Views from the LRT & MRT
Pasig River View from the LRT 1 – Jose Rizal’s Pasig River can be seen while traveling between the Carriedo and Central Terminal stations. |
Marikina River View from the LRT 2 – While crossing the terminal station of Santolan going to and from Katipunan, one will get a view of the Marikina River. |
Pasig River View from the MRT – Winding from Marikina, the river is renamed Pasig River, which can be viewed while crossing the Boni and Guadalupe stations. |
As I’ve mentioned before, I was intrigued with the notion that one river
runs through Metro Manila, and that the trio of railway transits that traverse the metropolis manage to cross the same river, albeit it’s named alternatively as the Marikina or Pasig River, depending on its location.
