Globe TXTPLUS Service (Eye)
The best of both worlds, namely, UNLIMITXT and SULITXT, have been combined in the new GLOBE service called TXTPLUS, wherein you can send unlimited Globe to Globe SMS and be charged Php 0.75 per Globe SMS to SMART and Sun for 24 hours.
Take note, as well, of the implications for the consumer with the changes that Globe has initiated that are applicable with the TXTPLUS and the other services.
Lower Break Even Point The rate of the 1 day UNLIMITXT service is Php 15, so by charging Php 20 for the TXTPLUS, the SULITXT joining fee comes out as Php 5, meaning that you need to send 20 Globe to SMART or Sun SMS to break even.
The previous SULITXT service of Php 50 for 30 days would require the consumer to send 200 Globe to SMART or Sun SMS to break even. So there is a great decrease in the number of SMS that need to be sent.
Faster Processing Time The maximum amount of hours before for processing time is 24 hours, now it has been shortened to 6 hours, a 75% decrease. This change has also been applied to the UNLIMITXT sevice.
Addition of Phrase non-consumable joining fee It’s so very gratifying to learn that Globe does listen to its consumers. As I pointed out, the absence of the phrase non-consumable joining fee is quite misleading and leads to an erroneous purchase decision. Now, Globe adds the phrase to its SMS from 2870.
