Proactive Shell Greenhills Attendant (Eye)
A regular loading of gas on 07 November 2006 turned into a jaw-dropping experience as Shell Greenhills attendant Danny Vicente proved he’s not a run of the mill employee.
Informing the Consumer When I said that I wanted Php 500 worth of gas, Mr. Danny Vicente suggested that I might want to order Php 600 instead so that I can qualify for the Php 1/liter discount card and get 2 raffle tickets for the 10 Milyonaryo sa Isang Araw raffle.
I wanted the discount card so I decided to get Php 600 worth of gas.
Keeping its Promise to the Consumer When I received everything except for the discount card, I inquired about it at which point Mr. Danny Vicente informed me that they ran out, so I protested that that’s precisely the reason I got Php 600. To get the discount card.
I was disarmed when he informed me that the cashier already applied the discount on my present receipt, which, when I looked, was only Php 583 instead of Php 600, so I got the discount at that moment instead of my next visit.
Added Value for the Consumer And then, aside from the water, transmission fluid and oil check up, Mr. Danny Vicente noted that my tires needed airing so he proceeded to help me with the computerized checking and airing.
In the end, I was so pleased I got his name so that I could write about it and gave him a Php 20 tip.
