Philippines Next Top Model Cycle 1
I love watching America’s Next Top Model and Australia’s Next Top Model because of the show’s concept where fledgling models are given skills to turn into beautiful swans.
A memorable episode of Australia’s Next Top Model was when the models were given an acting and movement workshop at the renowned National Institute of Dramatic Arts or NIDA from where Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving and Mel Gibson graduated.
The episode ties in with my belief that modeling is silent acting, in the sense that no words are spoken, yet truth through characterization and movement is conveyed.
The exciting news is that Solar Entertainment has bought the rights to air the Philippines own version of the Next Top Model.
The requirements are quite broad because all you need to be is 5’5†in height, 18-28 yo, a Filipino citizen and a high school graduate.
The easiest and fastest way to register is online so please go to the Philippines Next Top Model website.
