Background Story on the Batista Incident
I advised my sister-in-law to go for the New Farmers Plaza Autograph Signing, which is scheduled at 12nn. The Gateway Mall Autograph Signing was scheduled at 1pm. If just in case something goes wrong, then we take up Jun’s offer.
Since I had a meeting at Gateway Mall in the morning, I made sure to search Jun out and reiterate that we are not holding him accountable for the misinformation, but what I didn’t want to happen was the incident to be lost in oblivion, because then the situation cannot be corrected for future Araneta Center events. He assured me that he has informed marketing.
Moreover, I requested that something be given to my nephews and niece to make up for the emotional trauma of the previous day. I suggested Timezone and Kids at Work. Jun was able to work out a Php 300 Timezone card. And, when he saw me at Cibo later during the day, he offered to treat me to dessert. I graciously accepted.
Thankfully, all went well at the Autograph Signing at New Farmers Plaza, and the children, especially my 12yo nephew, were deliriously happy about the whole thing.
In the aftermath, I also informed Pizza Hut’s Luz Mendoza regarding my horrible experiences at Pizza Hut Bistro Gateway Mall, and I emailed the links to my accounts, which is what led to the post Pizza Hut Bistro Makes Amends (Eye).
Why am I writing about all the details? To show that the road to attaining what is right may be difficult, but it sometimes does bear fruition.
