Auditions for Tanghalang Pilipino & Department of Tourism A Walk Back in Time

Auditions are slated on 6, 7 and 8 October 2006 from 2-9 pm at the Multi-purpose Hall, 4th Floor CCP Main Building, CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City for Tanghalang Pilipino and the Department of Tourism’s production of A WALK BACK IN TIME. Experience the thrill of performing within the hallowed walls of Intramuros, a rare occurrence that will surely be a highlight on your resume.

Aside from actors who can play characters from Rizal’s classics of Noli and Fili such as Maria Clara and Ibarra, the performance will be spiced up by fashion models, kundiman singers and acrobats.

Here is a full list of the needed ensemble cast:

Movers and dancers
Folk dancers
Noli/Fili character types (Maria Clara, Ibarra,
Elias, Dona Victorina, etc.)
Chinese-looking actors
Kundiman singers
Fashion models
Male voice over (similar voice sound as veteran
actor Joonee Gamboa)
People with acrobatic/gymnastic skills

For those auditioning for singing parts, please prepare a Tagalog song accompanied by a properly-cued minus-one tape or CD.

For the acting parts, please prepare a short monologue from any published local or foreign play.

For the models, please be ready with your signature walk and your portfolios.

For the acrobats and gymnasts, please prepare a short routine displaying your skills.

All auditionees must be aged 18 and up and must bring their updated resume with their most flattering colored headshot.
