Pizza Hut Bistro Makes Amends (Eye)

Pizza Hut Bistro Oriental Salad Pizza Hut Bistro Oriental Salad- Minus the chicken, the chips, and the red bell pepper, plus half the serving, and that’s what we got as an apology for the traumatic experience of having a cockroach on my shoulder on 07 September 2006 at Pizza Hut Bistro in Gateway Mall. The concept of this free lunch with Pizza Hut Bistro’s Area District Manager, Mr. Alberto Guillermo, is to replace the disturbing memories with new ones.

Pizza Hut Bistro 5 Cheese Pizza with Stuffed Crust Pizza Hut Bistro 5 Cheese Pizza with Stuffed Crust- We ordered this to take the place of the 2 burnt Cheesy Volcano Pizzas that my sister-in-law had to fight for to be replaced by the Pizza Hut branch on Gilmore Ave. New Manila, plus the super meaty Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza that manager Mr. Kerwin Ortega ordered for me, but, which I really didn’t enjoy because I prefer non-meat pizzas.
Pizza Hut Bistro Penne in Tomato Cream Sauce Pizza Hut Bistro Penne in Tomato Cream Sauce- This is a must to supplant the memory of the pubic like hair in my take out version of the very same dish. This time around, Mr. Guillermo was gracious enough to let us choose the items that we wanted and, like a good host, kept urging us to get a salad, a pasta, a pizza, and drinks. With regards to the drinks, we got the green tea, of course, with the black straws to signify they’re bottomless.

Pizza Hut Bistro Garlic Batard Pizza Hut Bistro Garlic Batard- We ordered this because it just tastes good. Probably a majority of you are aghast at what you will perceive as “kapal,” but I have several reasons for my demands. One, it is an international practice. Two, companies must be made to feel a financial consequence for their actions. Three, ‘Talk is cheap,’ because ‘Actions speak louder than words.’ So, as a consumer, make a stand.

A similar situation happened to us at Shakey’s in Blue Wave, We had mojos that tasted like it was reheated and a pizza that was burned. The manager offered to replace them and she did. But the faces of the crew smiling at us while we had our lunch made me think that they might have done something nasty to the food they served.

I appreciate the fact that you’re one of the people who take the time to do that. The problem with many Pinoys is that they think it’s ok to keep silent about bad service or products and just quietly say to themselves “‘Di na ‘ko babalik dyan.”

We ate at Pizza Hut Bistro Galleria and it was incident free. I’m glad yours was too.
